LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE

URA PUBLIC SPACES COMPETITION -
PLANTATION EDEN:

My concept came from Mother Earth, Nature. My design is therefore based on
‘Earthquake’.The multiple intersecting lines and pathway represents the cracks caused by earthquakes. When an Earthquake occurs, vegetation are the first to recover. I choose to use multiple intersecting lines to separate the space into many smaller areas.

Each area will be used for growing different species of plants. I believe this would be an interesting spacial planning to capture the attention of people with it’s aesthetic charm and serenity that stands out in the urban place. There will also be seats throughout the plantation garden to allow people to rest and enjoy the scenery.
